As much as boatloads of DLC being released fairly close to release date gets my goat, the blow is softened somewhat when the DLC in question is well thought out and executed.

And I have to hand it to Gearbox, they rarely put a foot wrong in this arena, especially where the Borderlands franchise is concerned. So that brings us to today, which sees the release of the latest DLC for Borderlands 2 MR TORGUE’S CAMPAIGN OF CARNAGE.

The plot is thus: A new Vault has been discovered, unfortunately it can only be opened by the biggest badass in town (and spilling some blood somewhere, but I digress…), enter Mr Torgue! He’s decided that the best way to find the aforementioned badass is to have a big ol’ arena tournament… with lot’s of explosions.

Featuring 3 new areas (including the awesomely named Badass Crater of Badassitude) a host of weapons, new bosses and some returning favourites (Mad Moxxi, I’m looking at you…) Mr Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage should be worth shelling out for. But don’t take my word for it, here’s Mr Torgue himself…
