It seems as hype builds for Destiny, new information keeps being leaked at every turn. With the accidental release of artwork and images ahead of time by some websites prior to Bungie’s embargo deadline, now we have new of the game’s beta.

Displayed via Amazon, it’s suggested that Destiny will begin its beta testing in early 2014 meaning fans will only have a few months to wait. Along informing others of two deadlines, this news confirms the previous rumour beta access would be a pre-order bonus in some forms.

The MMO-FPS will be Bungie’s major effort to start a franchise following their departure from the now monolithic Halo series with a considerable budget and ambition behind it. Combining together two elements generally not associated with one another, not to mention how massive a project an MMO always is, means Bungie definitely has their work cut out for them. How long a beta period the game will have is as of yet unknown, only that Amazon lists that the game will be fully released on June 30th of the same year.

One point of concern for certain gamers is that thus far Destiny has been completely console focused. Being released on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and 4, PC owners will supposedly only receive a release if there is enough attention shown from them.
