Following on from yesterday’s trailer reveal, Batman Arkham Knight has been given of a release date. October 14th is when we may expect to see the cape and the cowl on our next gen consoles. This is according to US retailer, Gamestop. This may be unofficial at this point but it means this autumn could be when the sun rises on the new consoles. With an already impressive roster, autumn/winter 2014 is when we’ll see what developers can do. Not only Rocksteady, but all who have games coming out this year. 

Another welcome piece of news is how detailed Batman Arkham Knight will be. According to Albert Feliu, lead character artist, the polygon count on one character in Arkham Knight is as big as the count of the whole Arkham Asylum environment, which goes a long way to highlight the true potential of Next Gen gaming.
