The popular Sony PS3 game Heavenly Sword is swinging its way to homes in a new animated film released on June 15th through TriCoast UK.

The film is a dramatic tale of revenge, ‘Heavenly Sword’ follows the story of Nariko (Anna Torv, Fringe), a trained warrior who possesses a sought after blade with incredible powers. As the sword’s guardian, she must face a power-hungry ruler King Bohan (Spider-Man 2’s Alfred Molina) and his unyielding army, who are determined to obtain the powerful sword for themselves.

The DVD is released on June 15th, and will be available on the usual online streaming sources.
