Had enough of the TRANSFORMERS franchise yet? If so, you’re not going to like this latest news.

Deadline is reporting that Paramount Pictures is looking to expand the Robots in Disguise franchise even further, with further sequels and spin-offs now planned. Akiva Goldsman has been hired to work alongside director Michael Bay, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and executive producer Steven Spielberg to develop ideas for future films.

Despite Goldsman best known for his writing work, including winning an Academy Award for A BEAUTIFUL MIND, it’s believed that he won’t actually be on scripting duties but involved more with overseeing those who will be responsible for writing future movies.

As ever, expect to hear more on this as it develops.
