Following the spate of additions earlier this week, FOX’s upcoming live-action X-Men TV series has brought in several other new faces.

The Hollywood Reporter has word that Angel’s Amy Acker has landed the female lead role of the series, whilst Bunheads’ Emma Dumont has been brought in as Polaris (pictured), and Between’s Percy Hynes White has nabbed a role described as “a sensitive kid and a bit of a loner who keeps to himself to avoid the turmoil he faces at school and at home.”

The basic premise of this still-to-be-titled series is that it will focus on two ordinary parents who discover that their two children are mutants. Forced to go on the run from the government, the family seek solace with an underground group of mutants who are struggling to survive in this hostile world.

Acker’s role will be that of the mother of the family, while White will seemingly be the son of the clan. The pair join Stephen Moyer as the family patriarch and Natalie Alyn Lind as the seemingly perfect daughter. As for Dumont’s role of Polaris, that is a character that will instantly grab the attention of many longtime comic book fans, for Polaris is actually the daughter of none other than Magneto – which also sees her have similar abilities to her daddy dearest. Also on board for the series are Sean Teale, Blair Redford, and Jamie Chung.
