Elizabeth Olsen will be joining Kristen Stewart and Oscar Isaac to co-star in a new vampire thriller, Flesh Of The Gods, per a Deadline exclusive. The film hails from Mandy director Panos Cosmatos.
Isaac and Stewart portray Raoul and Alex, a married couple in glittering ’80s Los Angeles who descend each evening from their luxury skyscraper condo and head into an electric nighttime realm. When they cross paths with the mysterious and enigmatic Nameless (Olsen) and her hard-partying cabal, Raoul and Alex are seduced into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills and violence.
The film is written by Andrew Kevin Walker, best known for penning Se7en, and is based on a story co-authored by Cosmatos and Walker. Adam McKay and Betsy Koch produce for Hyperobject Industries, alongside Gen Konstantinakos and Isaac for Mad Gene Media.
Flesh of the Gods marks the fourth collaboration between Cosmatos and XYZ Productions, as they produced the upcoming Miley Cyrus film Something Beautiful, which will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival next month. They also have Nekrokosm in development with A24.
Olsen is best known for her role as Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlett Witch, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She was recently seen starring opposite Alicia Vikander in the thriller The Assessment.
