If you’re reading this, then you’re more than likely already a big fan of Ryan Murphy’s long-running anthology series, American Horror Story. While we were all starved of a new series last year, 2021 will reward your patience with not just a single new Story, but nine!

Not only will the upcoming tenth season of the main show comprise of two main stories this year in the Grindhouse-style American Horror Story: Double Feature, but a brand-new spin-off show featuring seven weekly self-contained episodes will kick off July 15th when American Horror Stories premieres in the States on FX!

While Double Feature is scheduled for later in the year – August 25th to be precise – today sees the first teaser trailer for American Horror Stories released, and while it’s short, it’s a nice reminder that we’ve got a summer of horror to look forward to, and it’s just around the corner!

But what about us Brits who struggled to even watch American Horror Story: 1984 due to its frustrating unavailability here? Don’t panic – while it is yet to be officially announced, we fully expect both shows to be released in the UK via Star on Disney+ following the House of Mouse’s Fox acquisition and recent closure of the FX channel over here. If we’re wrong and it’s another repeat of the 1984 debacle, then Murphy might as well reserve a Season 2 slot of American Horror Stories to retell the twisted tale of an uprising of British AHS fans revolting against the sloppy international distribution of their favourite show! There will be blood…
