The first three films have been announced for this year’s GRIMMFEST, which takes place in Manchester in October.

All three are UK Premieres that have been successful at festivals such as Sundance, SXSW and Fantasia International Fantastic Film Festival.

Syncronicity directed by Jacob Gentry (The Signal) is described as ‘a mind-bending ‘sci-fi noir’ in the tradition of Dark City, Blade Runner, and Alphaville’. The shocking body horror Excess Flesh, from writer/director Patrick Kennelly and starring Bethany Orr & Mary Loveless. There’s also He Never Died, a new brutal vampire film starring the legendary Henry Rollins (punk musician, author, public speaker, and actor), Stephen Ogg  (Grand Theft Auto 5) and Booboo Stewart (X-Men: Days of Future Past).

There have also been a second allocation of Festival Passes made available for sale, following the first batch selling out quickly.

GRIMMFEST will run at Manchester’s Odeon Printworks from October 1st – 4th.
