First Look at Paul Rudd as Ant-Man

With the trailer for ANT-MAN set to debut in the next few hours (at least for US fans), EW has released the cover for their new issue. Whilst the heady heights of the USA and Entertainment Weekly can’t compare in the slightest to lovingly-grey Manchester, EW’s new cover gives us a first good look at Paul Rudd in his Ant-Man getup.

Whilst we’re still confused as to why Hank Pym wasn’t the centre of attention for ANT-MAN, we have to say that at least the outfit is looking good on Rudd’s Scott Lang.

The official word on ANT-MAN reads:

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

ANT-MAN is currently set to kick things off for Marvel’s Phase Three of films on July 17th, and be sure to check back later today for the first “proper” teaser trailer for the film.
