With Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange getting ready to hit the big screen towards the end of this year, the production on Scott Derrickson’s Sorcerer Supreme effort has now come to an end. Not only that, but we’ve also been given our first look at Mads Mikkelsen’s mystery character.

This past weekend saw Doctor Strange’s New York shooting finish, which in turn brought an end to the entire production as a whole as director Derrickson took to Twitter to confirm that the film has indeed wrapped.

One interesting note from this past weekend’s shoot was that it brought us our first look at Mads Mikkelsen’s character. No details are known on who he is, just that he’s a villain who’ll be butting head with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Master of the Mystic Arts. Via ComingSoon, here’s the pictures of Mikkelsen in some interesting make-up:

So, any idea on who the Hannibal actor is playing? We’re all a little stumped at the moment, but, as suggested by some, the poor fella looks as if he’s had to sit through Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman.

As well as Cumberbatch and Mikkelsen, Doctor Strange will also feature Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, Benedict Wong as Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West, and unknown roles for Rachael McAdams, Amy Landecker, and Scott Adkins.

To be directed by Sinister’s Scott Derrickson, this upcoming entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will hit cinemas on November 4th.
