It seems lately that barely a day goes by where somebody doesn’t get added to DC’s Cinematic Universe. Well today is no different, for director David Ayer took to Twitter to reveal a table read for his upcoming SUICIDE SQUAD. What was most notable about this (bar Jared Leto’s absence) is that there’s actually four cast members that we weren’t aware of.

Check out the image for yourself:

The new additions to the table are Karen Fukuhara (next to Will Smith) and then Adam Beach, Jim Parrack, and Ike Barinholtz (all pictured together on the right of the picture). Whilst their roles are officially unknown at this stage, Latino Review claims to have the insider scoop on who these four will be playing.

Fukuhara is said to be the walking weapon Plastique, Beach is rumoured to be martial arts master Ravan, Parrack is lethal fan-favourite Deathstroke, and Barinholtz is the film’s twisted Hugo Strange. So that’s even more villains to throw into the mix of an already jam-packed pot.

If those roles are indeed correct, the above picture reads from left to right as, starting with the top row, David Ayer (director), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Jay Hernandez (unknown – believed to be a cellmate of The Joker’s), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Adam Beach (Ravan), Jim Parrack (Deathstroke), Ike Barinholtz (Hugo Strange), then the bottom row from left to right is Will Smith (Deadshot), Karen Fukuhara (Plastique), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) and Cara Delevingne (Enchantress). Missing from the picture are Jared Leto (The Joker), Scott Eastwood (Steve Trevor) and Ray Olubuwale (King Shark). And then there’s that talk that Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor will appear in the film, too. Quite the collection of characters, we’re sure you’ll agree.

To be directed by David Ayer, SUICIDE SQUAD is currently set for an August 5th, 2016 release.
