It took a while for it to finally be revealed, but Corey Stoll will be taking on the villain role in Marvel Studios’ ANT-MAN. Stoll will be playing Darren Cross, who will take on the alter ego of Yellowjacket for Peyton Reed’s movie. An image has now surfaced, seemingly originating from MoviesBook, that reportedly gives us the first grainy look at the villain of the piece.

Now this is far from being confirmed as legit, but it certainly looks the part. Hopefully Marvel and Disney will use this as an opportunity to release an official look at some of the costume designs for both Ant-Man and Yellowjacket.

Additionally, when speaking at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con about his role in the film, Stoll said, “In this story, Darren Cross, who was in the comic books but was not Yellowjacket in the comic books, he has a suit that is sort of the next generation of Ant-Man’s suit. It can do everything that Ant-Man can do, but more. It’s more badass, more militaristic, sleeker… sort of like if Apple had designed a battle suit.”

As ever, expect more on this as it develops.

ANT-MAN is currently scheduled for a July 17th, 2015 release.
