Welcome once again to the movie marketplace that is Watto’s Emporium, which rounds up some of the best merch that we found across the online galaxy this week. And as we fling open the emporium gates this week, there is a whole host of merch madness going on involving sadistic cubes, marshmallow monsters and heroic belt buckles, need we say more? Join us for another week’s stroll through Watto’s Emporium…

3. Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Shirt (beltsbucklestees.com, £13)

Well the trailer for Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot/remake/spin-off/who knows anymore, hit the Internet yesterday (you don’t have to call anyone to see it, you can watch it right here) and the results were about as pretty as being slimed while suffering from gastroenteritis. Those cynics out there were well and truly dropping the line, “I told you so”, while those hoping for something worthwhile were getting a little concerned. True the trailer looks, well, rather directionless, pointless and like a waste of a talented cast but we do not know, until the film properly arrives later this year, what the results will be. If we are all pleasantly surprised, great. If we aren’t, well at least we have the original. And you can celebrate the ’84 released comic landmark, over at beltsbucklestees.com, with this great ‘Stay Puft Marshmallow Man’ shirt, which celebrates the funny, awesome and (somehow oddly creepy) finale of the original film. Once you see that marshmallowy monster stomping through New York, even 30 years on, you never forget it!

2. Green Lantern Belt Buckle (beltsbucklestees.com, £15)

In other news, this week saw information revealed for when we may see The Green Lantern show off his ring (sounds a bit iffy) in cinemas again, after the ill-fated 2011 film, starring Deadpo…we mean, Ryan Reynolds. So the Green Lantern Corps may not be back in business at the DCCU for a little bit of time yet (as revealed here), but beltsbucklestees.com have the answer to stop fans from feeling green, with this brilliant Green Lantern logo belt buckle. Plus you can add a belt (of any size) to your order for just £5, for a limited time only (just over 2 days in fact), as part of a BBT Deal Offer this weekend!!

1. The Real ‘80s Horror T-Shirt (redbubble.com, £17.02)

And this week also saw news of the resurgence of an iconic face in Horror, as the long discussed, Hellraiser: Judgment, had some major casting news this week (which you can read about right here). However you may feel about seeing Pinhead making his way back to the screen, alongside his demented Cenobite companions, one thing you can safely say is that there will be some souls being torn apart. However, what about a lighter side of the Cenobites? Surely it cannot all be chains, leather, hellhounds and torture? And to that point, this fun shirt from Lopesco, over at redbubble.com, suggests that ol’ needle noggin’ is not averse to a bit of puzzling fun, in the form of Rubik’s cube. Though judging by his expression here, this cube is not quite as easily solved as the Lemarchand’s box.

Be sure to keep an eye out every week for our pick of the top 3 funnest, funkiest and freakiest finds in our online merchandising explorations!
