For decades now, The Buxton Fringe has brought fantastic shows to Derbyshire, England. This year’s Fringe runs from the 9th of July all the way to the 27th of July and tends to be the first step in many an artist’s fringe festival tour.  Let’s take a quick look at some shows that might appeal to STARBURST readers.

MJ Hibbet: Doctor Doom
MJ Hibbett is perhaps best known for his fun tunes about nerdy and geeky things, but he also claims to be the world’s leader on all things Doctor Doom.  Join MJ on a journey involving comic books, stats, and facts as we discover more about the world’s greatest super-villain. This show is also coming to the Camden Fringe.

Alasdair Beckett-King: King of Crumbs
Ginger comedy whirlwind Alasdair Becket-King returns with a new show filled with the sort of highspeed silliness STARBURST readers love. Join the King of Crumbs on a bizarre and surely journey into the absurd.  This show is also coming to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Dave Bibby: Hasta La Vista… Bibby!
Songs and sketches inspired by 80’s and 90’s era sci-fi movies such as Back to the Future and Terminator? Yes, please.  This one-man Hollywood blockbuster is also coming to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the Camden Fringe.

Daniel Nicholas: Haunting in the Arcade
Described as Five Nights At Freddie’s meets Taskmaster, we accompany amateur ghostbuster Danny Nix on a journey into the unknown to rid a haunted arcade of ghouls and ghosts. Sounds frightfully fun to us.

Bloody Marvellous: A comedy Show About The Middle Ages
Super-Nerd Luke Connell takes us on a tour of the medieval world, exploring everything from mythic beasts to Eilmer the flying monk. Essential for fantasy and history fans alike. This show is also coming to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Durham Fringe and Greater Manchester Fringe.
