Legend continues to pack their schedules with great films and TV shows, but here are our picks you shouldn’t miss this week…

Monday September 26th, 9pm – Assault on Precinct 13 (1976)

John Carpenter’s tense crime thriller in which a cop gets the help of a pair of convicts when his station comes under siege by a local gang.

Wednesday September 28th, 1am – Cooties (2015)

Elijah Wood heads the cast of this school-set infectious comedy-horror. In this case, it’s a tainted batch of chicken nuggets that turn the kids into rabid zombies.

Friday September 30th, 9pm – Saturn 3 (1980)

An all-star cast – Harvey Keitel, Kirk Douglas, and Farrah Fawcett are almost upstaged by the robot Hector in this British sci-fi thriller. Surprisingly, it’s directed by Stanley Donen, better known for films like Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Singin’ in the Rain!

Saturday October 1st, 9pm – The Devil Ship Pirates (1964)

Hammer goes all swashbuckling with this adventure. Starring Christopher Lee and Andrew Keir, it’s directed by Don Sharp (The Kiss of the Vampire).

Sunday October 2nd, 9pm – 12.05am The Vintage Vault

Legend continues to celebrate the Golden Age of genre cinema with a season of double bills. This week, there are a pair of fifties creature features. First up, we go underground to face The Mole People (1956), as B-movie hero John Agar tries to battle the subterranean creatures. The stop-motion work of Ray Harryhausen follows with 20 Million Miles to Earth (1957) in which a creature from Venus lays waste to Rome.
