Here are some of our picks for the next seven days on Horror Channel so you’ll never be at a loss for great things to watch.

Tuesday July 13th, 9pm – The Reef (2010)
We’ve said it before, but we can’t resist a shark film. This Aussie entry into the subgenre has a group of friends fight for survival when their boat capsizes and a great white shark wants to come and play.

Wednesday July 14th, 10.50pm – Dr Terror’s House of Horrors (1965)
This superb portmanteau from Amicus proves why we love the Hammer rival’s anthologies so much. As well as the macabre tales, it’s full of high profile actors – Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee rub shoulders with Donald Sutherland, Michael Gough, and… err… Roy Castle, Kenny Lynch, and Alan ‘Fluff’ Freeman. Not ‘arf! [You’re showing your age – Ed]

Friday July 16th, 11pm – Frozen (2010)
Hatchet director Adam Green draws blood once more with this chilly story of a trio of friends who get stuck on a ski lift. It’s tense, gory, and very suspenseful, so whatever you do, don’t confuse this with the animated musical and let the kiddies watch it.

Saturday July 17th, 10.50pm – Resident Evil: Retribution (2012)
The fifth film in the franchise continues the story following Afterlife (2010), with Alice (Milla Jovoich) attempting to escape the clutches of the Umbrella Corporation. It’s big, explosive, dumb fun and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Sunday July 18th, 10.45pm – Urban Legends: Final Cut (2000)
The sequel to the popular 1998 film brings more stalking and slashing as a film student’s crew begin to meet a bloody demise while making her movie about urban legends. Directed by frequent Bryan Singer collaborator John Ottman.
Tune into Horror Channel on Sky 317, Virgin 149, Freeview 68, Freesat 138.
