horror check

Easter week is here and we have some more tasty picks from what’s on this week on Horror Channel….

Tuesday April 12th, 10.55pm – Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988)

The Cenobites are back in the second Clive Barker adaptation (this time directed by Tony Randel). We get an origin story of Pinhead (Doug Bradley) and more torturous gore.

Wednesday April 13th, 4pm – 6-Headed Shark Attack (2018)

We know these are the lowest common denominator-type film, but you have to admit, they’re a lot of fun! Who can resist a shark with six heads attacking people? The Asylum always deliver in craptastic style. (Also screening Thursday at 11am.)

Thursday April 14th, 10.55pm – It Came From the Desert (2017)

Based on the video fame from the ‘80s, this big-bugs-in-the-desert picture is a whole load of fun. Motocross, kegger parties, secret military bases, and mutant ants. It’s certainly worth staying up for.

Saturday April 16th, 1pm – 9pm  – Classic Sci-Fi Weekend – Day 1

It Came From Outer Space (1953) opens the special Easter Sci-Fi Weekend in style. Settle down for some retro action including Earth vs the Flying Saucers (1956), Tarantula (1955), It Came From Beneath the Sea (1955), and the riotous The Giant Claw (1957

Sunday April 17th, 1pm – 8.50pm – Classic Sci-Fi Weekend – Day 2

Another afternoon’s worth of vintage sci-fi thrills, starting with The Mole People (1956). You have no excuse not to stay for the other films, which are 20 Million Miles to Earth (1957), The Deadly Mantis (1957), The Monolith Monsters (1957), and Steve McQueen starring in The Blob (1958).

Tune into Horror Channel on Sky 317, Virgin 149, Freeview 69, Freesat 138.
