Need more reasons to avoid the kickball games that everyone else is talking about? Here are some of our picks for the next seven days on Horror Channel:
Tuesday July 6th, 9pm – Lakeview Terrace (2008)
Fabulous social thriller in which an angry cop (the ever brilliant Samuel L. Jackson) has a beef with his white neighbour and his Asian girlfriend. A neat twist on the racist angle and a brooding atmosphere make it one to watch.

Wednesday July 7th, 9pm – It Follows (2014)
Director David Robert Mitchell’s superb film proves that modern horror can still be effective to the ‘seen it all before’ crowd. The film mixes the supernatural terror with anxieties about STDs and intimacy with great effect.
Friday July 9th, 11.10pm – Victor Crowley (2017)
Adam Green returns with the fourth film in the Hatchet series with the titular boogie man chopping more unfortunate victims in Honey Island Swamp. Sleepaway Camp’s Felissa Rose is along for the gory action this time too.
Saturday July 10th, 2.35am – The Sand (2015)
Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the beaches, this killer sand movie might give you second thoughts. This fun creature feature is a must for the night owls out there.
Sunday July 11th, 9pm – Starry Eyes (2014)
Some people will do anything for fame. Unfortunately, a waitress pays the price for wanting a role too much. Demon worship and self-mutilation, and a wicked look at the filmmaking business are just some of the delights that make this smart horror worth watching.
