Despite all Marvel eyes being on AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON and ANT-MAN this year, many seem to be forgetting about 20th Century Fox’s FANTASTIC FOUR. Some fans have been turned off by what they’ve heard and seen of the film so far, but there now comes some good news on the FF’s outfits.

The footage released so far sees Marvel’s First Family donned out in a form of contamination suit, with many long-time fans not happy that the more familiar outfits are being ignored. Speaking to Screen Crush, star Miles Tiller revealed that the suits seen in the trailer were “the beta versions”, adding “It would be very odd if the Fantastic Four didn’t don the traditional costumers. You’ve got to. You’ve got to give that to the fans. That’s what it’s all about.”

Teller is the film’s Reed Richards, whilst Kate Mara is Sue Storm, Michael B. Jordan is Johnny Storm, Jamie Bell is Ben Grimm, and Toby Kebbell is Victor Domashev, who is an online hacker who uses the handle “Doom”.

To be directed by Josh Trank, FANTASTIC FOUR is released worldwide on August 7th.
