In some fantastic news, a Fallout TV series is on the way.

Making this news even more exciting, Deadline reports that Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy are developing Fallout for Amazon.

For those not aware, Fallout is a post-apocalyptic video game franchise that began life back in 1997. Since then, there have been three standard sequels, plentiful spin-offs, tabletop games, and various other Fallout projects.

On this news, Nolan and Joy enthused, “Fallout is one of the greatest game series of all time. Each chapter of this insanely imaginative story has cost us countless hours we could have spent with family and friends. So we’re incredibly excited to partner with Todd Howard and the rest of the brilliant lunatics at Bethesda to bring this massive, subversive, and darkly funny universe to life with Amazon Studios.”

Nolan and Joy’s Kilter Films will be working with Amazon Studios, Bethesda Game Studios, and Bethesda Softworks on Fallout.

Expect more on this Fallout TV series as it continues to develop further.
