Over in the US, The CW’s DC superheroes shows are gearing up for a huge four-show crossover event next week. As such, the network has released a new extended trailer for a team-up that will bring Green Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and the Legends of Tomorrow together to fight the alien menace known as the Dominators.

The action kicks off on Monday with a Supergirl outing named Medusa, which will see Grant Gustin’s Scarlet Speedster and Carlos Valdes’ Cisco Ramon travel to Kara’s world to seek her assistance on their Earth at the alien threat that looms large. The following night’s Invasion episode of The Flash will then see the Sultan of Speed heading over to Star City to ask for the help of Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow, before our heroes soon realise that the attack of the Dominators is too big a task for them to handle, and so the Legends of Tomorrow are sought out. The similarly-titled Invasion episode of Arrow will follow on Wednesday, seeing Amell’s Emerald Archer wake up in a landscape where he never actually got on The Queen’s Gambit, meaning both of his parents are alive and he’s soon to be married to Laurel Lance. After that, another Invasion episode, this time Thursday’s outing for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will finally see the full-on battle between all of these heroes and the nefarious Dominators.

Right, now for that extended trailer ahead of what promises to be one of the year’s most memorable TV experiences:

At present, the UK is airing episodes of all four of these shows two weeks after their US showings, so expect to see this four-way crossover event on Sky1 early next month.
