In a special ceremony on May 17th 2014, The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America announced the winners of their prestigious Nebula Awards for 2013. This year’s crop of winners has celebrated the extraordinary and excellent writers in the industry who have perhaps not had as much acclaim as they deserve. With the exception of the motion picture and special achievement awards, all the winners are women. It is sad reflection on the industry that this is remarkable in and of itself, but hopefully a strong step forward and we look forward to seeing what the future holds.
