With only a month to go until MCM London Comic Con, it’s time to announce yet another wave of awesome online video creators attending the show’s VidfestUK 2014. Über popular YouTube channel Geek & Sundry, top comedy duo Jack And Dean and the famous Raindance Film Festival are amongst the latest additions to Vidfest, joining previously-announced YouTube favourites such as Tomska, Weebl’s Stuff, TimH, World Of The Orangeand Slomozovo’s Chris Bingham.

From the press release:

  • GEEK & SUNDRY – Sachie is the Geek & Sundry Vlog’s resident cosplay guru, guiding viewers through the world of costuming and comic cons, while Scott Tumilty hosts Old School Pixel Party, a surreal, expletive-ridden joyride though gaming’s past.
  • RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL – Annually uncovering the hottest new filmmakers to hit the cinematic scene, the Raindance Film Festival has played host to the British Independent Film Awards since 1993.
  • JACK AND DEAN – Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs’ hilarious short films and sketches attract fans from all over the world, with OMFG It’s Jack And Dean and the comedy duo’s other YouTube channels now boasting over 20 million views.
  • CAPITAL CITY ENTERTAINMENT – VidfestUK’s own Elisar Cabrera and BlogtorWho’s Cameron K. McEwan present their latest film Who’s Changing: An Adventure In Time With Fans, a video tribute to the fans of the BBC’s beloved sci-fi standard bearer, Doctor Who.
  • CHRONICLES OF SYNTAX – Back for a third Vidfest, visit the cast and crew of sci-fi show Chronicles Of Syntax to find out what’s on the horizon for Sian and the team in Season 2.
  • FLITTER FILMS – Flitter Films make three comedy webseries: sci-fi/fantasy Donald Newman: Underachiever (Also Saviour Of The Universe), sitcom Eaten By The Wolves and film noir Marcus Macabre’s Freakshow Nightmare.
  • FUTURE DUCK – Promises to make it into your top three ‘Shows-About-A-Duck-Who-Comes-From-The-Future-Who-Now-Lives-With-A-Semi-Evolved-Whale-And-A-Thawed-Out-Female-T-Rex-And-A-Sentient-English-Muffin’. Which is our favourite genre.
  • THE PARADOX SERIES – A gripping sci-fi web series exploring the discovery of new time travel technology that could reshape the world forever – but will it be for good or ill?
  • PREDATOR: DARK AGES – A brand new Predator fan film in the making, Dark Ages sees a group of medieval  Templar knights face their deadliest adversary yet…
  • SMALL SPARTANS – Created using live action footage and Forge green screen walls, Small Spartans follows three gamers who have been transformed into miniature Halo 4 Spartans.
