Not Bob but Thomas in case you were wondering! This year’s Dylan Thomas Festival, which takes place each year in Swansea from October – November will be marking the 50th anniversary of our favourite Time Lord with a day dedicated to all things Doctor Who.

Saturday November 2nd will see a range of panels covering 1963: Now and Then, Terry Nation and the Daleks, an artist’s workshop and a writers panel (including Phil Ford, Simon Guerrier, Joe Lidster, David Llewellyn, Una McCormack and James Moran) which will cover Doctor Who, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures. The day is rounded off by an evening panel which features Louise Jameson and a selection of those who have been involved in early sessions.

Each item is individual priced with most setting you back £5 thought the evening panel will cost you £10.

The Dylan Thomas Centre has been operating for nearly 20 years and the great man himself was born in 1914 so next year sees the 100th anniversary of his birth so there is plenty of celebration to be had.
