This week sees the thirtieth anniversary of the broadcast of the very first episode of cult 1980s fantasy series ROBIN OF SHERWOOD, and fans are in for a treat this weekend with a two day festival taking place in Chepstow in Wales, dedicated to the series and its creator, Richard Carpenter.

Guests at the event will include Nickolas Grace who played the Sheriff of Nottingham in the show, Judi Trott (Maid Marian) and both Robins, Michael Praed and Jason Connery.

Here’s organiser Barnaby Eaton-Jones with more details:

There will be entertainment from 3-piece band ‘Alter Ego’ and a banquet on the Saturday evening where exclusive and never-before-seen footage of the series will be shown.
