The cult classic Seconds– directed by John Frankenheimer and starring Rock Hudson – is set to be released on Dual Format Blu-ray/DVD by Eureka! Entertainment as part of their Masters of Cinema range.

The brilliant 1969 sci-fi thriller asks the age-old question ‘what if you could live your life all over again?’ Rock Hudson plays the ‘second’ of banker Arthur Hamilton, a rebooted version of a man, given a fresh start at life. The surgical procedure is carried out by a secret organisation called The Company, but what is the actual cost of a new life?

With amazing cinematography, and some terrifying and disorientating visuals, Seconds is a long-overlooked masterpiece from one of cinema’s legendary directors.

The Eureka Entertainment Dual Format Blu-ray/DVD of Secrets hits stores on October 26th and, as well as a fantastic restoration from a 4K transfer, has two commentaries, a video interview with Kim Newman and a booklet featuring new essays on the film.
