In some casting news, Marvel’s AGENT CARTER has added two new faces to its ranks. This weekend saw confirmation that DOLLHOUSE’s Enver Gjokaj and ONE TREE HILL’s Chad Michael Murray will both be joining the Peggy Carter-focussed show. Gjokal will be playing Agent Daniel Sousa and Murray will play Agent Jack Thompson. Both characters are new creations for the show, with Hayley Atwell’s Peggy meeting the pair during her new role in New York City.
The official synopsis for the show reads:
Marvel’s AGENT CARTER, starring CAPTAIN AMERICA’s Hayley Atwell, follows the story of Peggy Carter. It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalised when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the cover SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life – Steve Rogers.
AGENT CARTER will debut on ABC early next year during AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.'s mid-season break.
