Wolverine 3 is certainly gathering some traction lately where its cast is concerned, and today brings word of another new addition.

Variety has word that Elise Neal, likely best known to genre fans for her turn in Scream 2, has been brought on board in a mystery role. The actress joins a cast that currently includes Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant and Eriq La Salle. The film will also feature the X-23 character.

There’s no confirmed details on the plot of this final Logan outing for Jackman, although constant speculation suggests that the film will be some sort of take on Mark Millar’s famed Old Man Logan arc.

To be directed by The Wolverine’s James Mangold, Wolverine 3 is currently set for a March 3rd, 2017 release. Thanks to the most recent trailer, we also know that Jackman’s Wolvie will be popping up in Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse when that hits cinemas later this month.
