The second official trailer for Dune: Part Two has been released, a three-minute teaser of what to expect from the second half of Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s epic sci-fi novel.
Dune: Part Two is due to explore the continued journey of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) as he unites with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen in search of revenge against those who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, Paul grows determined to prevent a terrible future that only he can foresee.
Alongside Chalamet and Zendaya, Dune: Part Two stars a mix of returning stars and new characters, including Dave Bautista, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Charlotte Rampling, Lea Seydoux, Christopher Walken, Tim Blake Nelson, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, and more.
The second Dune: Part Two trailer also reveals our first look at Walken’s Emperor and Butler’s Feyd Rautha, the latter of whom Villeneuve has enticingly described as an “Olympic sword master crossed with a psychotic serial killer.” The writer-director has also said he’s interested in doing a third film, this time based on Herbert’s sequel novel Dune Messiah, though Warner Bros. has not yet greenlit that project.
Dune: Part Two will release in cinemas on November 3rd. Watch the first trailer here, and the second trailer below:
