With Netflix having put out some corking shows over recent years, the on-demand service has announced a new genre series, Santa Clarita Diet, for next month.
Starring genre favourites Drew Barrymore (Scream, Donnie Darko) and Timothy Olyphant (Scream 2, Hitman, The Crazies), the cannibal-driven show will debut on February 3rd, 2017.
The official blurb on the series reads:
In Santa Clarita Diet, Joel (Timothy Olyphant) and Sheila (Drew Barrymore) are husband and wife realtors leading vaguely discontented lives in the L.A. suburb of Santa Clarita with their teenaged daughter Abby (Liv Hewson), until Sheila goes through a dramatic change sending their lives down a road of death and destruction… but in a good way.
Here’s hoping that Santa Clarita Diet gives us something juicy to sink our teeth into come February.
