With A Quiet Place 2 on the way next year, the sequel has had a change-up amongst its cast.

Courtesy of Deadline, Brian Tyree Henry has had to depart the project due to scheduling conflicts – and he’ll be replaced by Djimon Hounsou.

Hounsou is likely best known to genre fans for the likes of Captain Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy, Gladiator and Blood Diamond. Most recently he appeared in Shazam! as the wizard Shazam, which in itself was a role that was originally to be played by Ron Cephas Jones.

For A Quiet Place 2, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe are all returning, and they’ll be joined by Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy in the follow-up.

With John Krasinski back in the director’s chair, A Quiet Place 2 is currently set for a March 20th, 2020 release.
