Ready for a live-action Aladdin sequel? Yeah, we’re not too sure either…

Courtesy of Collider, Disney is unsurprisingly looking at developing a sequel to Guy Ritchie’s recent take on Aladdin. The reason why that’s so unsurprising? Well, that’s because the film has brought in over $1 billion at the global box office.

There’s nothing official on this just yet, and it appears that the House of Mouse is merely exploring its options about an Aladdin 2 – and with that sort of box office haul, that’s always to be expected.

Of course, the 1992 animated Aladdin movie did indeed actually have two sequels – The Return of Jafar in 1994 and Aladdin and the King of Thieves in 1996.

Expect more on a live-action Aladdin sequel if and when it develops any further.
