When Disney purchased Lucasfilm back in 2012, along with it came various properties. Now obviously Star Wars is something that the House of Mouse has moved swiftly to work on, and now it’s been revealed that there will indeed be another Indiana Jones movie.

The thing is, whilst we will be getting another outing for Dr. Jones, it may not be for a little while yet.

Speaking to Variety, Disney’s Kathleen Kennedy confirmed, “Another Indy movie will one day be made inside this company. When it will happen, I’m not quite sure. We haven’t started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it.”

So yeah, Indy will rise again… somewhere at some point in time.

This news follows on from recent stories that Harrison Ford was looking at another Indiana Jones film after reprising that Han Solo fella in Star Wars, whilst other stories have claimed that Star-Lord himself, Chris Pratt, is being looked at to take over the whip and fedora, and then there is further speculation that the Face Man, Bradley Cooper, is another under consideration should the 72-year-old Ford end up being replaced.

As ever, expect more on this as and when it develops.
