We’ve known for a while that Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg, will play a pivotal part in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, but now comes word on some other villains that will be appearing in Zack Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL follow-up.

Badass Digest is reporting that both Doomsday and Anatoli Knyazev, aka the KGBeast, will have a presence in the film. It’s believed that Luthor will have many agents working for him in his quest to discover and monitor the world’s meta-humans, including Wonder Woman. Knyazev will be working for Lex and will at least be name-dropped, whether he actually makes an on-screen appearance or not. As for Doomsday, he will presumably play a much bigger role in the film. Additionally, The Joker, announced only this week to be played by Jared Leto in the DCCU, will already exist in this world, although he will not make an appearance here. Instead, Superman will be aware of the Clown Prince of Crime and will make reference to him at one point.

As ever, expect to hear more on this as it develops, although treat the above as rumour for now. 

Snyder’s BATMAN V SUPERMAN will be released on March 25th, 2016.
