The Wrap is reporting that Dean Israelite is currently in talks to direct the upcoming POWER RANGERS redo. The director is best known for the recent PROJECT ALMANAC and is also attached to the WAR GAMES remake. Added to this, he’s believed to be a huge fan of the Power Rangers themselves.

At present, Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz has penned the script for this relaunch, and POWER RANGERS is currently pencilled in for a July 22nd, 2016 release.

Expect more on this as it develops.
