Fresh from San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Brothers has revealed that their upcoming Green Lantern movie will now be titled Green Lantern Corps.

Despite this new title, there’s still no confirmation on which Green Lanterns will be the focus of the action, although the use of the Green Lantern Corps. title means pretty much everybody is fair game. Could it even be that we may see Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner and Kyle Rayner all together? Maybe not, although it looks as if Jordan and Stewart could very well likely be appearing.

Over the last few weeks, there’s been plenty of stories coming out to say that Star Trek’s Chris Pine is in talks to play Hal Jordan, whilst the Fast & Furious’ franchise’s Tyrese Gibson has teased that he may well be playing John Stewart.

According to some rumours, we may even get some Lantern casting news by the time Comic-Con comes to a close.

Green Lantern Corps. is currently set for a June 19th, 2020 release, although it’s expected that at least one Lantern will appear before that in the two-part Justice League in November 2017 and June 2019.
