Englishman and four-time captain of the Harry Potter team, David Yates, is reportedly in talks with Warner Bros to return to J.K. Rowling’s spellbound universe. Scheduled for a November 18th 2016 release, FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM is a project the studio have been moulding for a while, and this could have something to do with the Potter outings trawling in the prize for ‘Most financially successful franchise in cinematic history’.

There are literally seven billion reasons why this film is being made and obviously it’s attracting the sort of talent that the material deserves. The screenplay is being written by Rowling herself, who penned the original book several years ago, which follows the magical wanderings of Newt Scamander – 70 years prior to the introduction of The Boy Who Lived.

Warner Bros have dunked this narrative into the trilogy pool and will hope that FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM will go somewhere towards replicating the enormous success of Potter. Out of all the directors who experienced Hogwartian escapades, Yates gleamed consistently in that terrain and provided audiences with arguably the pick of the lot. Enter THE DEATHLY HALLOWS:PART 2.

However, nothing has been set in philosophical stone as of yet, so keep your wands at the ready for further announcements!
