In a move sure to have Daredevil fans worked up into a frenzy. The on-off Daredevil Project has a new writer, and he is about to tackle the ‘holy grail’ of Daredevil stories…

Every major comicbook character has THE seminal story that defines or redifines the entire saga. Spidey had ‘The Day Gwen Stacy Died’. Iron Man had ‘Demon in a Bottle’. For Daredevil the Frank Miller penned opus ‘Born Again’, breathed new life into the title in 1986. Telling the story of what would really happen if a hero had his secret identity revealed to his greatest enemy. The ensuing battle between Daredevil and the Kingpin enthralled readers, and sent sales figures through the roof on a previously dying title. It was a brave story that featured Kingpin literally stripping away everything of value from Daredevil’s alter ego, blind Lawyer Matt Murdoch.
Now Fringes’s Brad Caleb Kane is picking up the pen, and the challenge, of bringing a story to the big screen that is probably regarded as being larger than the character itself.

One thing is certain. If he pulls it off, Daredevil will be back with a vengeance…
