Well, well, well. It appears that Daniel Craig may not be done with Bond after all…

After stating how he’d rather slit his wrist than return as James Bond following the filming of SPECTRE, stories of Craig being finished up as Bond have been rampant. In fact, follow-up stories reported that the actor turned down $70 million to return for just two more 007 outings.

Speaking to Vulture, it appears that Craig is now more open to a Bond return. “They say that shit sticks,” he said, “and that definitely stuck. It was the day after filming. I’d been away from home for a year. Boo-hoo. It’s a good gig. I enjoy it.”

Whilst he confirmed that no real conversations have taken place over the next Bond movie just yet, Craig than added, “As far as I’m concerned, I’ve got the best job in the world. I’ll keep doing it as long as I still get a kick out of it. If I were to stop doing it, I would miss it terribly.”

Of course, this comes hot on the heels of last month’s news that Sony had now upped their offer to a whopping $150 million for Craig to return for two further films…

At the last count, the current favourites to replace Daniel Craig should he indeed be done as Britain’s greatest spy are Tom Hiddleston, Jamie Bell, and Idris Elba.

As ever with this saga, expect more on this as it develops.
