When done well, a spy movie can make for compelling, tense and stunning viewing. And now, Paramount Pictures has picked up the rights to for a new cinematic spy adventure, and they’ve even brought in Daisy Ridley to star in the film.

Variety reports that Paramount has grabbed the rights to Sonia Purnell’s A Woman of No Importance, and they’ve already moved to sign up The Force Awakens’ Ridley to headline.

The upcoming book is the biography of American super-spy Virginia Hall, an American heiress who spent years trying to break into the ranks of the American Foreign Service in the lead-up to World War II. Having been rejected due to her gender and for having lost a leg in a previous hunting accident, Hall ended up working for the British SOE unit during the war.
