Having amassed a complete cast and shot a pilot, The CW has decided to near-enough start from scratch on their Lost Boys TV series.

Via Deadline, the show is currently looking to recast all but two of its roles. We’d heard in May how the pilot episode was to be redone, but clearly the network was majorly unhappy with what they’d seen.

Medalion Rahimi and Dakota Shapiro are the two names still attached to the series; Rahimi playing the show’s take on Star, Shapiro playing David. That means that the previously-cast Rio Mangini, Sarah Hay, Del Zamora, Haley Tju, Cheyenne Hayes, Kiele Sanchez and Tyler Posey will no longer be involved in The Lost Boys.

The current plan is for the new Lost Boys pilot to shoot by the end of the year.
