A fantastic event for monster lovers is taking place this August – CREATUREGEDDON 2016! Taking place at The Langley Conference Centre, Watford on August 20th – 21st, it’s something a little different from the usual fan expos.

Now in its second year, this 2-day event is rapidly becoming the No. 1 place for fans from all industries, hobbies, and communities across the UK and Europe to come together and celebrate all things creature and monster-themed! CREATUREGEDDON covers a wide range of fields including films, arts and crafts, hobbies, cosplay, illustration, literature, and digital.

The tagline for the event is ‘Celebrating the Art of Creatures’, and it’s shaping up to do exactly that with a healthy mix of vendors, artwork on display and special guests giving talks, Q&As and demoing their skills for all visitors.

Vendors of all types – from large companies to small businesses and individual artists – selling everything from monster-making materials, personal artwork, toys, and apparel.

CREATUREGEDDON’s display area, ‘The Dungeon’, is a fantastic opportunity for artists to get their personal artwork seen by a wide audience, free-of-charge, and for visitors to be inspired by the extremely diverse pieces of creature-related art.

Special guest speakers and educators will be sharing their unique experiences as creature designers, sculptors and make-up artists from the film industry and beyond.

Guests announced so far include Nick Dudman, multi award-winning creature effects designer/supervisor for the entire Harry Potter series and more recently Showtime’s popular Gothic horror series Penny Dreadful and Mark Coulier, the double Oscar-winning make-up artist. Responsible for many effects in the Harry Potter films and supervising the making of a zombie army for World War Z.

More guest announcements will be made very soon via the website, Facebook and Twitter as the event draws closer.
