Oklahoma Ward’s gripping Crawl of Die – featured in STARBURST’s Independents Day feature in issue 407 – will receive its UK TV premiere on Horror Channel on July 17th at 10:55pm.

The film’s synopsis follows:

Earth as we know it is gone. A virus has destroyed the planet and rendered all its women infertile, all but one. An elite team of soldiers are tasked with bringing the woman to safety on the newly habitable Earth Two. But when they are forced underground they find themselves fighting for survival from a bloodthirsty creature in a maze of ever shrinking tunnels. As the team’s ranks start to dwindle and the ammunition run out, the crawl for survival becomes acutely desperate. Nicole Alonso gives a terrific performance as Tank, a Mohawk-sporting uber-babe, who would give any male action hero a run for their money.

Crawl or Die has yet to be released in any form in the UK, aside from festival screenings, so this is a fantastic chance to see the film which has already gained a cult following. You can read our review here.

Other first for the channel in July include demented leprechaun killer in Red Clover (2012), The Hike (2013), and the 2013 remake of the erotically charged Embrace of the Vampire.

Horror Channel is available on SKY channel 319, Virgin 149, Freesat 138, and Freeview 70.
