Award winning publishing company Archaia Entertainment of MOUSEGUARD and ESTONIA fame, have teamed up with actress Alyssa Milano of the famous TV series Charmed, to bring a truly 21st Century graphic novel.

HACKTIVIST takes place in our modern world and explores the hacking and global activism. There have been many famous hacking attempts in real life, especially by the team called , but how do they do it? It seems HACKTIVIST may shine a light on it.

The story concentrates on the lives of Ed Hiccox and Nate Graft, social media business and innovators, but also the most dangerous hackers.

When the US Government finally coin on to what they’re doing, the cyber world becomes very real and the boys cannot hide behind their computer screens anymore.

With such an amazing crew behind it – including writer Jackson Lanzing, artist Marcus To (CYBORG 009), Eisner Award-nominated colourist Ian Herring (TALE OF SAND), and Eisner Award-nominated letterer Deron Bennett – this looks to be an essential read.

Alyssa Milano commented: “I felt HACKTIVIST was a strong story that I really wanted to tell visually, doing a graphic novel allowed me to dream big and it gave me the freedom to create without boundaries.”

HACKTIVIST will debut digitally in Autumn 2013 with the hardcover released in Summer 2014. There is a special HACKTIVIST Ashcan variant (limited to 500 copies) out there for all those fans and computer enthusiasts that cant wait.
