With FOX’s still-untitled live-action X-Men series having brought in several cast members over the past few weeks, now the show has added Coby Bell to its ranks.

Deadline is reporting that the Burn Notice and The Game actor has been brought in to play Jace Turner, “a weathered man who quietly wrestles with the moral ambiguities of a job that regularly requires cold-blooded, calculating efficiency on a day-to-day basis.”

If you ask us, that sounds like Bell will be playing one of the ‘bad guys’ of the series, although seemingly not an out-and-out villain with no conscious, likely just one of those tasked by the government with hunting down mutants.

In this still-to-be-titled show, the main focus will be on two ordinary parents who learn that their two children having mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from the government, the family seek refuge with an underground network of mutants who are fighting to survive in this hostile world.

As the patriarch of the family is True Blood’s Stephen Moyer, the mother is Angel’s Amy Acker, Between’s Percy Hynes White is the sensitive, bullied son, and Gotham’s Natalie Alyn Lind is the seemingly perfect, popular daughter of the clan. In addition to these cast members, Satisfaction’s Blair Redford is the strong-willed Native American leader of the underground group of mutants, Skins’ Sean Teale is a newly-created photon-manipulating mutant named Eclipse, Gotham’s Jamie Chung is the teleportation-based Blink (as seen played by Fan Bingbing in X-Men: Days of Future Past), and Bunheads’ Emma Dumont has landed the role of Polaris, the daughter of Magneto who just so happens to have similar powers to her daddy dearest.
