With LUKE CAGE arriving as the third of Marvel’s Netflix-exclusive shows, now comes confirmation of a showrunner for the series.

Netflix and Marvel Television have announced that Cheo Hodari Coker, best known for NOTORIOUS and NCIS: LOS ANGELES, will be overseeing the Powerman show. Coker will also pen the first two episode of the series.

The character of Luke Cage, played by Mike Colter, will debut in A.K.A. JESSICA JONES, which should arrive towards the end of the year. Before that, of course, DAREDEVIL is available on Netflix as of April 10th. After DAREDEVIL, A.K.A JESSICA JONES and LUKE CAGE will be IRON FIST before the four titular heroes come together for the DEFENDERS mini-series.
