As the sequel to Matthew Vaughn’s brilliant Kingsman: The Secret Service starts to come together, it’s now being reported that Charlie Hesketh will be returning for Vaughn’s follow-up.

Deadline has word that the actor, who played total asshat Edward Holcroft in the first film, will be back for Kingsman 2. Interestingly, there’s no confirmation that he’ll actually be reprising the role of Hesketh in the sequel, with there being a possibility that he could play a new role completely or even something as crazy as Hesketh’s twin seeing as how Kingsman is a pretty ‘over the top’ sort of affair.

So far, the only confirmed cast member for Kingsman 2 is the returning Taron Egerton as Eggsy. Additionally, though, previous reports claim that Julianne Moore is in talks to play the film’s villain, whilst Halle Berry is being lined up to play the head of the CIA.

At present, Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Secret Service 2 is set for a June 16th, 2017 release.
