With that trailer finally arriving a couple of weeks ago, now comes the reveal of some of character names for J.J. Abrams’ STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS. EW has managed to get hold of the information and released the names via some trading card-style images.

So that ‘ball droid’ is officially known as BB-8, Oscar Isaac is Poe Dameron, that Sith with the awesome-looking lightsaber is Kylo Ren, Daisy Ridley is Rey, and John Boyega is Finn. With next week making it exactly a year until the film is released, it’s believed that some further information on Abrams’ venture to a galaxy far, far away may also get revealed.

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS will be released on December 18th, 2015.
