Last month saw FOX move to renew The Exorcist for a second season, and now comes an update on the cast you can expect to see when the series returns.
As per TV Line, it’s been confirmed that Geena Davis, Alan Ruck, Hannah Kasulka and Brianne Howey will not be returning for Season 2. That’s no major surprise, considering how the arc of the Rance family was pretty much tied up by the end of the first season. On the flipside, Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels and Kurt Egyiawan will be returning for Season 2.
Creator Jeremy Slater previously said that the Rances were likely done with the series for now, but he didn’t rule out the family returning at some point in the future. That future, though, seemingly doesn’t involve Season 2.
Expect more on the second season of The Exorcist as we get it.
